Sea Gulch's Wood Carving Outlet is a Family Business started by Ray Kowalski in 1976 in Seal Rock, OR. As years went by Ray's boys came into the business. In 1980 Karl started, In 1988 Toby started, and in 1991 Jason started. Jason is now Carving in Oakland Arkansas.

The Carvings which include life size Cowboys, Indians, Sea Captains, and Bears. A line of smaller Bears down to 10" tall are made of heart free Western Red Cedar, and finished with a Satin finish Polyurethane. Each one is hand crafted individually by artisans at the outlet.

These carvings grace the homes of individuals such as Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Neil Diamond, and there is even a life size cowboy in Santa Barbra, California at the Ronald Regan Library.

The Carvings are sold in dozens of Gift Shops and Gallery's across the Country, including our own stores along the Oregon Coast which are located in Seal Rock and Otis near Lincoln City.
